She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Dale Owen; her brother Harold Sanford (Sonny); and her son Gregory Koontz. She is survived by: her children, Bill Koontz (Sherrie Berry) of Flint, Teresa King (Bill) of LaValle, Terri Geeding (Timothy) of Manteno and Dan Owen of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Sam Geeding, Ben Geeding, Jennifer Eubanks (Kyle), Crystal Thomas, Heather Neitzel (Ryan) and Crystal Smith (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Solomon Eubanks, Isaiah Eubanks, Shelby Neitzel, Ashley Kaiser (Trevor), Dakota Neitzel, Kyle Smith (Ryann-Lynn), Joshua Smith (Veda Melody) and Breanna Smith; her great great grandchildren, Kaisley Kaiser, Emberley Smith, Hayden Smith and Elijah Smith; and her sister Carol Pillars (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curtis Baptist Church (W17066 Main Street, Curtis, Michigan 49820). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
