He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schober and Stella Schober (Oles); his wife Winifred Schober (Saum); his daughter Anne Liedel; and his siblings, Barbara Schober, Kenneth Schober and Richard Schober.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Schober (Julie) of Virginia Beach, Mary Allen (Gary) of Fenton and Lisa Reiser of Marquette; his grandchildren, Jon Foley (Angie), Erin Turner (Adam), Anthony Schober (Lily), Lauren Foley, Scott Reiser (Emily), Mary Reiser and Ashley Schober (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Stella Turner and Peggy Foley.
