Wendell Blanchard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendell Blanchard of Crystal, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Blanchard and Lottie Blanchard (Roose); his wife Jean; his son Eric "Rick" Blanchard; and his siblings, Ted, Mike, Don, Geraldine, Vivian, Florence, Lucille and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Songer, Pam VanFossen, Teresa Bantien (Rick) and Kim Bradfield (Chris); his daughter-in-law Kim Blanchard; his stepchildren, Gae Wolfe (Dan) and Rocky Steffes (Sue); his sisters-in-law, Betty Blanchard and Betty Sharpe (Joe); and his pet Max. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
