In the vast expanse of eternity, Joel Monroe shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joel Monroe farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Avery and Florence Avery (Tipton); his siblings, Earl Junior Avery and Florence Pendell (Avery); and his grandson Levi Avery Wojtowicz.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Joan (Trexler); his daughters, Sarah Avery (Mark Prout) of Alma and Linda Avery-Eaton (Andy Eaton) of Kodiak Island; and his grandchildren, Tayla and John Eaton.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Crystal Community Center (217 E Park St, Crystal, MI 48818).
