She was predeceased by: her parents, George Macksam and Hazel Macksam (Gaye); and her siblings, David Macksam and Eunice Gutoski (Macksam). She is survived by: her husband Michael Sorensen of Crystal Valley; her children, Dawn Sorensen (Victoria) of Natick, Massachusetts and John Sorensen (Teena) of Crystal Valley; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia, Sadie, Ally and Asher.
She recently helped deliver food to many families during COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crystal Valley Care Fund.
