He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Tuchowski and Mary Tuchowski (Mazurek); his wife June Ann Stebic; his siblings, John, Frank, Chester Tuchowski, Angie Shimalius, Rosie Tuchowski, Lorraine Rojek and Irene Battye; and his son-in-law Bill Curtis.
He is survived by: his children, Mel Tuchowski (Michelle), Fortune Tuchowski of Crystal Falls, Mich. and Charlene Curtis of Crystal Falls, Mich.; and his grandchildren, Alina Soha, Justin Curtis (Heidi), Nicholas Curtis (Jen), Brendan (Caroline) and Alec Tuchowski. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
