We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2022, at the age of 100, Sophie Bernadette Brauer of Crystal Falls, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Supergan and Bernice Supergan (Wierzba); her husband Edward Brauer; her daughters, Dorothy Brauer and Evelyn Futrell; and her sons-in-law, Donald Utter, Martin Futrell and Steven Obergfell.

She is survived by: her children, Edward Brauer II (Shelley), Bernadette Utter, Judith Brauer, Pat Butler (Jim), Carol Sherby (David), Rose Anderson (Greg) and Christine Obergfell. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
