He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Surface and Bernice Surface; his grandfather Bob; his wife Margie Surface; his children, Jill Chipelewski (Jamie) of Marquette, Sarah Williams (Tyler) of Crystal Falls and Dan Surface (Jessie) of Crystal Falls; his grandchildren, Kendall, Kaleb Chipelewski, Clayton, Tanner, Trevor Williams, Hadlee, Lyndee and Calum Surface; his brother Paul Surface (Shelley Cantor); his sisters-in-law, Katherine Haile (Roderick) and Marcia Heron (James); his parents-in-law, Harold (Hank) and Flora Ellingboe (Puzza); and his brothers, Keith and Ken Surface. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and countless extended family members and treasured friends.
