He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Wendt (Juchemich) of Crystal Falls, MI; his children, Holly Leach of Little and Jason Wendt (Jeri) of Amasa, MI; his grandchildren, Cody Wendt (Hannah) of Bancroft, MI, Thomas and Maya Wendt of Amasa, MI; and his sister Sharon Kennedy (Patrick) of Negaunee, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
