He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert LaBay and Cleo LaBay (Wellman). He is survived by: his siblings, Gilbert LaBay (Pat), Claudette Therrian, Mona Christy and Gerald LaBay (Dawn); and his children, Victoria Krenzke (Keith), Christopher LaBay and Melissa Becker. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
