We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2022, at the age of 91, Norma J. Takala (Crystal Falls, Michigan), born in Iron Mountain, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Zambon (Udd) and Peter Zambon; her husband Vanner Takala; her daughter Lynn Marie; and her stepmother Lena Zambon.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hegstrom (Mark) and Don Takala (Jody); her grandchildren, Jen Ketola (Jordan), Lindsey Anderson (Kurt), Nicki Hinds (Andy), Kevin Takala (Bowie) and Anna Jackson (Chris); her sister-in-law Norita Takala; and her close friend Boots. She is also survived by companions, card players, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Norma's name to the Northwoods Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
