She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Perykasz and Mary Perykasz (Burket). She is survived by: her husband John Mlinarcik; her daughters, Adrianne Cheatham (Donald), Carol Cain (Horrace) and Jean Forstrom (Bruce); her grandchildren, Jeff Seppala (Teresa), Steven Seppala (Kerry), Tim Phelan (Meagan), Debbie Williams (Tucker), Keri Garsomke, John Garsomke (Kathy) and Nicky Waldo; her son-in-law Jim Waldo; and her daughter Joann Waldo. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Iron County Cancer Unit or the Amyloidosis foundation in remembrance of Marie's daughter, Joann.
