She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mathieson Fraser and Dorothy Christie Fraser. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Adam "Al" Stender; her children, Thaddeus Stender (Melissa) of Crystal Falls, MI and Margaret Amy Labre (Thomas) of Spalding, MI; her brother William Fraser (Barbara) of Sewickley, PA; and her grandchildren, Adam T. Stender of Iron River, MI, Mollie A. Thiry (Matt) of Suamico, WI, Maggie J. Shepeard (Robert) of Joplin, MO, Annalisa Sandborn of Hart, MI, Katie F. Van Effen of Sheboygan, WI and Samantha J. Suomi of Republic, MI. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
