It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Richard Arcand (Crystal Falls, Michigan), who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Frenchy" Arcand and Virginia Arcand; his former wife Jeanne Arcand; his parents-in-law, Chester and Olga Nettell; his son Dean Arcand; his siblings-in-law, David Ketola, James Nettell and Josephine Nettell; his parents-in-law, Jeanette and Dan Boedeker; his brother-in-law Donald Damrow; his nephew Mark Nettell; and his nephew-in-law Jay Bruner.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Valenstein Voland; his sister Geri Ketola; his children, Tina Arcand (Soo), Tony Arcand (Lesli), Trung Arcand (Oki), Stacy Pedrin (Ryan) and Nikki Loehr (Todd); his daughter-in-law Lisa Arcand; his grandchildren, Lindsay Martwick (David), Amelia Arcand, Daryl Bartczak (Taylor), Dean, Derek Arcand, Tyler Arcand, Bryce, Blake, Bria Pedrin, Paige, Dalas, Hunter and Beau Loehr; his great grandchildren, Cash and Carver Bartczak; his sisters-in-law, Linda Damrow, Sue Ackerman (Verlyn) and Ruth Semph (Kerry); his nieces, Ann Marie Simpson (Dan) and Kelly Jo Bruner; and his granddaughter Jessie Loehr. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, close relatives, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry in remembrance of Larry.
