He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Abbey and Ethel Abbey (Drew); his wife Betty M. Cole; and his sisters, Patricia Hamilton, Sharon Fitzgerald and Lori Erdman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debora Stanton (Robert), Crystal Falls, Susan Holt (Jeff Frantom), Mich and Jackie Little (Dennis). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
