It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Susan Dove of Crystal Falls, Michigan, born in Iron River, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Peterson and Genevieve Peterson; and her daughter Rhonda Dove. She is survived by: her friend Pastor Carolyn Orchard; her children, Douglas Dove (Cathy Heckaman) of Laingsburg and Danelle Dove of Crystal Falls; her siblings, Ben Peterson (Volli) of South Carolina and Dianne Barnard (Gary) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Jessica Joan Phillips of Grand Rapids, MI and Mackenzie Dove Phillips of Crystal Falls; and the father of her children Ronald Dove (Kenneth Heimerl) of Traverse City, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to St. Marks Church of Crystal Falls or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
