He is survived by: his wife Lori Schmidt; his children, Jolene Ofsdahl (Jeff), Tim Anderson (Tahoney) and Jeanna Bandola (Shane); his grandchildren, Anna, Ally, Dax, Mack, Addie and Joey; his brother Al Anderson (Charlene); his nieces and nephews, Robb, Kurt and Brad; his sister Barb Peterson (Mike); his nephews, Erik and Patrick; and his father-in-law William Schmidt. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the United Lutheran Church (506 Superior Ave, Crystal Falls, MI 49920). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Dobie's memory, honoring his legacy of love, service, and devotion to his family and community.
