He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ray, Rose Nelson and Don Zegarski; and his great-grandparents, Marion, Chick Nelson, Art and Marge Nelson.
He is survived by: his parents, Douglas R. Sr. Nelson and Loreen Nelson (Zegarski); his wife Sky; his children, Zaiden, Ava and Isaac Nelson; and his siblings, Donny (Bobbie Jo) and Cindy Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
