She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Benda, Sr and Gladys Benda, Sr. (Kotke); and her brother Peter Benda, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robin A. Vassar of Crystal Falls, Kelly R. Vassar (Jim Sliva) of Crystal Falls, Jackie Nylund (Herbie) of Crystal Falls and Robert W. Vassar, Jr. (Jeanette Tinker) of Maple, WI; her sisters, Karen Pearson of Crystal Falls, Carol Maroney of Crystal Falls and Jacqueline Wilch (Eddie) of Worth, IL; her sister-in-law Judy Benda of Crystal Falls; her grandchildren, Samantha Fittante (Tyler), Rod Alan Nylund, Misty Vassar and Brent Alimenti; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Fittante and Kenneth "K. J." Alimenti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
