It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Benishek of Crystal Falls, Michigan, born in Iron River, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Benishek and Joseph Benishek; and his father-in-law Don "Flip" Flaminio. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Joseph Benishek (Christine Mattila) of Marquette, Kirby Emerson (Dean) of Wausau, Mick Grunlund of Florida, Adrienne Black (Neil) of Ohio and Todd Benishek of Iron River; his grandchildren, Blaiden, Vayda Emerson, Allison, Frank and Archie Black; his brother Tim Benishek (Tammi) of Madison; his mother-in-law Zella Flaminio of Iron Mountain; his sisters-in-law, Sandy Delie (Doug) of Green Bay and Mary Flaminio of Milwaukee; and his friend Willie Winton of Iron Mountain.
