He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kangas; his children, Warren Nelson (Lisa) and Wendy Nelson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kaisa Nelson, Lauren and Steven Cooper; his great grandchild Lena Nelson; and his brothers, Jules and Leslie Nelson.
