He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Watson and Edna Watson (Cook); his siblings, Jack, Jim and Joyce Kirkbride; and his great grandchild Drew Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Butler; his children, Ronald (Sharon), Rick and Ruth Main (Bill); and his sister Bonnie Mcdevitt. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
