He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Turner and Wilma Turner (Coleman); his daughter Patty Jo Zick; and his siblings, Avis, Harold, Carlyle, Herbert and Garison.
He is survived by: his wife Lois M. Turner (Arnold); his daughters, Cindy Majewski (Don), Tresa Pike (Arden), Shelia Turner and Pam Pulizzi (Pete); and his brother Don Turner (Janet). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials in memory of Syd may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or McLaren Hospice.
