He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hastings and Elva Hastings; his son Charles Hastings; and his siblings, Diane and Bob.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Connie R.; his wife Connie Hastings of Croswell; his children, Raymond Hastings (Linda) of Croswell, Mary Langwell (Dan) of Indiana and Bryon Hastings (Janie) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Joseph, Carissa, Elise, Christopher, Joshua, Sarah, Hannah and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Chelsea, Landon and Aurora; and his siblings, Jean Sherman (Don), Cliff and Jim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
