He was predeceased by: his parents, Holbert Hunt and Gwendolyn Hunt (Wahl); and his siblings, Tim, Roland and Nonie.

He is survived by: his wife Debra M. McColl; his children, Michael (Janet) of Port Huron, Nicholas (Kristi) of Livonia and Danielle Sharpe (Brad) of Croswell; his grandchildren, Della, Eylie, Zachary, Kora and Alexandria; and his siblings, Nat, Virginia, Esther, Rachel, Becky, Laurie and Eva.

Memorials may be made to the Region 7 Council on Aging.
