He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Sweet and Berniece Sweet (McConnell); and his daughters, Debra Moore, Dana Sweet and Dahn Sweet.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; and his sons, Daniel Sweet (Melissa), Douglas Sweet (Laura) and Christopher Bobbio (Sheila). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
