He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Helen; his wife Carol; his stepdaughters, Alicia and Teresa Vitale; his grandchildren, Cordell, Kyle, Ryan, Christopher and Shawn; his great grandchild Seth; his sisters, Elaine Ehrhardt, Carolyn Henderson and Joanne Willis; his daughter Jennifer Himmels; his stepson Michael Vitale; and his grandson Dwayne.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
