He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Kaufman; and his brother Melvin Kaufman Jr. (Carol Kaufman). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Lynn" Dluge; his daughters, Kristy Kaufman and Jessica Kaufman; his former wife Diana Jo Kaufman; and his siblings, Kathy Gleissner (Walter), Thomas Kaufman (Cynthia) and Patricia Senger (Frank).
