He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Joseph Rivard Jr. (Beth Miller) of Eugene and Rachel Postelwait (Mark II) of China Township; his grandchildren, Theo Rivard, Trevor Fields, Mark Postelwait III and Alex Postelwait; and his sister Joyce Lynch of Marine City.
