It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold C. Helzer Sr. of Cottrellville Township, Michigan, born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Helzer and Mary Helzer (Pelka); his former wife Rose; his children, David of Harold, JR. and Mary; his granddaughter Megan Helzer; his siblings, Frank, Joseph, Edward, Barbara, Geraldine, Joann and Gladys; and his son-in-law Dennis Fabinski.
He is survived by: his wife Georgene Nowakowski; his daughters, Shannon Helzer of Cottrellville Twp, Madonna Fabinski and Lisa Helzer of Ypsilanti; his brothers, Melvin, Floyd and Donald; his grandchildren, Harold Helzer III, Joseph Helzer, Mary Adams, Christina Rose and Michelle Fabinski; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Mikael, Allie, Justin, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Jacob and Zoey.
