He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Scott and Henrietta Scott; and his siblings, Albert, Darrell, Joyce and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline; his children, Thomas Scott (Nicole), Michael Scott (Dawn), John Scott (Dawn), Laura Weisenbaugh (Robert) and Jeremy Scott (Nichole); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Trent (Cecilia), Anthony (Jenny), Nathan, Natasha (Nick), Dani, Matthew, Sara, Elizabeth, Asia, Leland, Jordan and Karter. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
