He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Scheffler and Margaret Scheffler (Sheiring); his daughter Tawnya Hertach; and his siblings, Ruth Womble, Edna Bough, Elizabeth Scheffler, Maria Campbell, James and Robert Scheffler.
He is survived by: his pet Chloe; his wife Bonnie Scheffler; his children, Paul Scheffler (Corrina) and Patrice Katrak (Kerfi); his grandchildren, Matthew Scheffler, Aaron Scheffler (Emmie), Alison Kuhn (Shon), Kade, Cali Katrak, Olivia Becerra (Jose), Andrew and AJ Hertach; and his siblings, Frances Williams (Leon), Dorothy Miller (Arthur) and Dave Scheffler (Edna).
