She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Sheler and Mildred Brown (Escott); her husband Eugene Lowell Sanderson; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her son Karl Sanderson (Teresa); her grandchildren, Eric Sanderson (Amy), Karon Long (Kurtis), Jennifer Sumbera (Joe) and Bobbi Yerian (Nate); her great grandchildren, Koehn, Kinley, Kali, Jostyn, Mason, Madison, Aiden and Nathan; her cousin Janet; and her aunt Ginny.

Memorial contributions in Shirley's name are suggested to the family for future designation.
