She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Avery and Mildred Avery (Nisonger); her husband Richard Griggs; her siblings, Leila Walker (Ken), Alberta Wise (Junior), Sharon Husted (Jim), Violet Holloway (Otto) and Richard Avery; and her sister-in-law Mary Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Ronda Smith (Bill), Robin Inman (Matthias), Rich Griggs (Denise) and Roger Griggs (Gayle); her siblings, Betty Griggs (Dan), James Avery, David Avery (Judy) and Paul Avery (Karen); and her sister-in-law Cathy Avery. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
