She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Nieman and Lillian Nieman (McClure); her brother Ken; and her husband Darrell "Red" Frederick. She is survived by: her children, Mark Backus (Ellen Frantz) and Kimberly (Danny) of Maine; and her grandchildren, Amber Battistone (Mark), Chris Cunningham, Jessica Douglas (Buddy), Sherry Backus, Shaun Backus, Christopher Hathaway, Megun Lang and Mckenzie Hoy. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren who will remember their great-grandmother.
