She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Turner and Edna Turner (Cole); her husband Robert N. Smith; and her brothers, Dale, David, Jim and Richard Turner.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Smith (Patti), Patrick Smith and Jamie Smith (Sarah); her grandchildren, Lindsey and Sara Clapp (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Zack, Anabelle, Joshua, Carter and Eveigh; and her brothers, Keith Turner (Linda) and Gerald Turner.
