She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Compton and Vera Compton (Weeks); her husband James "Jake" Spencer; her siblings, Robert, Kenneth Compton and Shirley Schlaack; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Hawkins, Vivian Compton and Virginia Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Spencer (Michele), Shelley Watkins (Todd) and Cory Spencer; her grandchildren, Dale Spencer, Justin Watkins (Marissa) and Paige Watkins; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Ann Walworth (Al) and Walter Hawkins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
