He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Vasicek and Anna Vasicek (Hudy); his brothers, Jack Vasicek and David Vasicek; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Vasicek, Robert Walsh, Donald and Elaine Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Vasicek; his children, Deborah Vasicek, Thomas Vasicek, Teresa Serio (Gus) and Sandra Redmon (James); his grandchildren, Eric Braid, Kristin Winans, Joseph Serio (Dior), Diana Scheck (James) and Catherine Larson (Kurtis); his brothers, Donald Vasicek and Robert Vasicek; and his sister-in-law Marian Vasicek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
