He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Wells and Doris Wells (Smith); and his wife Debra Ann Well (Fox). He is survived by: his children, Nicole Rau (Doug), Joe'l Ruggiero (Kalen), Elisabeth Wells, Seth Wells (Jessica) and Samuel Wells (Alexis); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Lukas, Grace, Abby Ruggiero, Ariana, Iris Wells, Allison, Kendall, Harper Wells, Connor Matuousek, Christian (MaKenzie), Addison and Jaxon Rau. He is also survived by Mother; two brothers; two sisters.
