It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Branden Staton (Corunna, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Todd Staton; and his grandparents, Eugene Staton, Herbert and Anna Hoover. He is survived by: his parents, Dale Staton and Carol Staton; his wife Marla Ann Smith; his sons, Payne and Cole; his sister Joy Richards (Josh); and his grandmother Roberta Staton. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donations may be made to assist with college tuition for the boys, or to the Wounded Warrior Project in Branden's honor.
