She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Skutt and Maybel Skutt (Chase); her son-in-law Tony Horwath; her stepchildren, Robert Smith and Marilyn Hodge (Elmer); and her siblings, Evelyn Defrenn, Ethel Martineau, Betty Straba, Kitty Pyles, Edward and Robert Skutt.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Horwath and Albert Howard (Jean); and her stepdaughter-in-law Lola Smith. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and eighteen great great-grandchildren.
