It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Francis Soper of Cornell, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph and Vera Mary Soper (Gauthier); his son William Louis Soper; his siblings, Carol Danser (Tom), Robert "Bob", Steve, John, Michael Jr. and Timothy Soper; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Berglund, Susan Soper and Pat Soper.

He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Quirk (Scott) of Cornell, MI; his grandchildren, William Louis Soper of Marquette, MI and Samantha Ann Soper of Cornell, MI; his siblings, Rosemary Berglund of Escanaba, Donna Lehouillier (John) of Gladstone, Donald Soper (Candy) of Cornell, Thomas Soper (Donna) of Escanaba, Richard Soper of Gladstone and Debra Donaghe (Bob) of Escanaba; and his sister-in-law Mary Soper.
