He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carlson and Cecelia Carlson (Broman); his sister Juanita Thompson; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Thompson and Bob Iverson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Carlson of Cornell; his children, Roni Hubert (Reade) of Rapid River and Bobby Carlson (Melissa Gray) of Vulcan, MI; his grandchildren, Rhiley Hubert, Rease Hubert and Owen McDonald; and his brothers, Clay Carlson (Dory) of Cornell and Dave Carlson (Carol) of Escanaba. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
