It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iona C. Walkner of Cornell, Michigan, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kearns and Otella Kearns (Bergman); her brothers, Tom and Charlie Kearns; and her husband Chuck.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Walkner (Janet) of Gladstone and Diane Jones (Tom) of St. Peters, MO; her stepgrandchildren, Michelle and Miguel; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Francis, Pat Brantmier and Jim Kearns (Ruth). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
