It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Margaret Johnson of Copper City, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nestor Kiilunen and Helmi Kiilunen (Taivalkoski); her husband Elmer Johnson; and her siblings, Agnes Siira (Paul), Norma Holomboe (Tor), Dorothy Divecchio (Joe), Carl Kiilunen (Eleanor) and Lawrence "Jack" Kiilunen (Sandy).
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Buzz" Johnson (Kathleen) of Traprock, Rodney Johnson (Suzanne) of Duluth, MN, Roger Johnson (Terry) of Racine, WI and Carol Johnson of Rockford, MI; and her grandchildren, Eric Johnson (Kristen), Chad Johnson (John), Robert Johnson (Erin), Joe Johnson (Ginny), Margaret Hanson (Travis), Regina Melchiori (Bill), Brenda Johnson, Mitch Johnson (Nikki), Heather Johnson, Amanda Colby (Jason), April Kadamian (Nathan) and Roger Johnson (Katie). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests donations be made in Jean's name to the Lake Linden United Methodist Church.
