She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maki and Edla Maki (Krapu); her husband Edward; her son Reed; and her siblings, Arthur Kemila, Elmer Maki, Einar Makie, Arnold Maki, LeRoy Makie, Sylvia Willette, Ellen Hitsman, Verna Raisanen and Martha Harjala.
She is survived by: her son David Harjala (Sandra) of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, April Biondi (Joseph) of Garland, TX, Allan Harjala (Mardi Parelman) of San Diego, CA, Sean Harjala (Cassie) of Raeford, NC and Jessie Harjala of Lawrence, MI; her great grandchildren, Lily, Chelsea and Carson; her great great grandchildren, Braxxton and Elijah; and her sisters-in-law, Lillian and Shirley Harjala. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
