Sadie Rena Kamps Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sadie Rena Kamps of Coopersville, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sadie Rena Kamps to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeVries and Sadie DeVries (Boonstra); her siblings, John, Otto, Henry, Ann, Janet, Alice and Sue; and her siblings-in-law, Gertrude VanderKolk, Abe Kamps (Marge), Edward Kamps (Sylvia), Gradus Kamps, Bill Kamps (Dorothy) and Gene Kamps.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Kamps; her children, Melvin Kamps (Colleen), Wayne Kamps (Jolene) and Elaine Zawacki (Steve); her grandchildren, Samantha Williams (Daniel), Justin Kamps (Megan Alwardt), Eric Kamps, Kaitlin Kamps, Andy Zawacki (Kelsee Stoner) and Kelsey Hammond (David); her great grandchild Howard Hammond; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Kamps, Flora Schout (Art) and Edward VanderKolk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lamont Christian Reformed Church (4745 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404).
