He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Veldman and Marian Veldman (Busman); his brother-in-law Bert Schipper; his sister Marilyn; his brother-in-law Cal Meindertsma; his sister Sharon Young; his children, Cheryl Harsay (Tom), Scott Veldman (Shari), Ron Veldman (Beth) and Roger Veldman (Cheryl); his sister Leona Schipper; and his brother-in-law Don Young. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Due to the pandemic, a drive-in celebration of life service will be held in the Coopersville Reformed Church parking lot at 10am on Saturday, May 30.
