He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Walt and Caroline Walt (Hendrix); his wife Nina; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Hodson and Jack Palmatier.
He is survived by: his son Craig Walt (Edith); his grandchildren, Greg Walt (Wendy) and Gwen Eastwood (James); his great grandchildren, Justine Walt, David Walt, Colin Walt and Maggie Eastwood; his siblings, Marvin Walt (Ruthann) and Mary Ann Smoes (Norman); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Hodson and Ena Palmatier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
