He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kurtz and Elizabeth Kurtz (Spinner); and his sister Laura Burgener. He is survived by: his wife Angela Kurtz; his children, Frank Kurtz II, Alayna Kurtz and Kelsey Kurtz; his grandchildren, Frank Kurtz III, Ezra, Enoch Jegla, Kyler and Kaden Kurtz; his siblings, Kathleen Smith (Tom), Noreen Kurtz, Edward Kurtz (Susan), Robert Kurtz, Mike Kurtz (Holley) and Janet DeVries (Ronald); and his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Sprague (Gary), Chris Burgener, Mike Noonan and George Noonan (Pamela). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wright Seventh-Day Adventist Church (16429 40th Ave, Coopersville, MI 49404).
